This month, the Regional High School Dance Festival hosts two events: in Norfolk, Virginia, and in Madison, Wisconsin. The Regional Festival, which alternates every other year with the National High School Dance Festival, draws more than 600 high school dancers. Attendees participate in workshops, lectures, master classes and performances and can audition for college and summer dance programs.

Students can attend in Norfolk (where Ailey II will perform), March 16–19 (gsarts.net), and at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, March 23–26 (highschooldancefestival.wisc.edu).
