And yes, they've still got the moves.
"Alright"? More like *AMAZING.*
<p>Here at <em>Dance Spirit</em>, we (obviously) have a special place in our hearts for the dancing boy band. (See: our recent obsessions with, respectively, <a href="https://www.dancespirit.com/prettymuch-is-our-newest-boy-band-obsession-with-some-serious-dance-skills-2471115441.html" target="_blank">PRETTYMUCH</a> and <a href="https://www.dancespirit.com/this-k-pop-music-video-will-change-the-way-you-think-about-boy-bands-2495202573.html" target="_blank">Seventeen</a>.) So when an OG supergroup like the Backstreet Boys—cue faraway faint screams of excitement—releases new music for the first time IN 5 YEARS, we sit up a little straighter.</p><p>2018 marks 25 (!) years since the Boys joined forces, but this new single, with its completely dancetastic video, proves that Backstreet's back (alright!) and truly better than ever. Don't believe it? Here's the truth, straight from Howie D.'s mouth: <a href="http://www.vulture.com/2018/02/backstreet-boys-on-why-a-las-vegas-residency-isnt-the-end.html" target="_blank">He told <em>Vulture</em></a>, "I think people thought that, at our age, we wouldn't be dancing as much anymore. But we're dancing just as much, if not more, as the old days. We may have to wear knee and ankle braces and take ibuprofen here and there, but we're doing it. We're going full speed."</p><p>A+, gentlemen. Just don't go breaking MY heart—because this '90s kid is now in full-on nostalgia mode. 😍 😍 😍 😍 😍</p> <p class="shortcode-media shortcode-media-youtube"> <span style="display:block;position:relative;padding-top:56.25%;" class="rm-shortcode" data-rm-shortcode-id="82418feb1eab6ded66ea5a6d404f6897"><iframe type="lazy-iframe" data-runner-src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/6SuMbFuKDf8?rel=0" width="100%" height="auto" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" style="position:absolute;top:0;left:0;width:100%;height:100%;"></iframe></span> </p>
