This weekend, Jacob’s Pillow will host two master classes in NYC. Saturday’s class, from 12–3 at the Ripley-Grier Studios, is for those interested in the jazz/musical theatre dance program at the School at Jacob’s Pillow, directed by Chet Walker. The class will include a dance section taught by WALKERDANCE’s Emanuel Abruzzo, as well as a vocal portion led by Broadway actor Andy Gale. Sunday’s contemporary class will be led by the contemporary program director, Milton Myers. Promising students will be invited to attend the summer program at Jacob’s Pillow. These classes kick off the Pillow’s 2013 audition tour. Nowhere near NYC? Don’t worry—between now and March, there are plenty more chances to show your stuff in Chicago, Miami, Los Angeles and Long Beach, California. Video auditions are also accepted.
