2013 Dance Planet participants

It’s fun, it’s a festival and, best of all, it’s free! April 12–13, the Dance Council of North Texas will host Dance Planet 18, the nation’s largest free dance festival, offering classes and performances from more than 80 North Texas-based dance groups. The festival, now in its 18th year, will spotlight Dallas native Dylis Croman, who is currently starring on Broadway in Chicago. Performances will take place in the Montgomery Arts Theater, and classes–offered in genres as varied as samba, swing, African and circus skills–will be held at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Dallas.
