Tonight the DT staff is heading the closing celebration of the Youth America Grand Prix. The annual gala, “Stars of Today Meet the Stars of Tomorrow” will feature performances by this year’s finalists along with today’s favorite ballet celebs.

This year’s lineup includes Misty Copeland, Yonah Acosta in his New York debut, the Maryinsky’s stunning Ekaterina Kondaurova and the English National Ballet’s newly appointed artistic director, Tamara Rojo.

This DT editor is particularly excited to catch a glimpse of that ballet rebel, the notorious Sergei Polunin, who is rumored to be closing the show in a pas de deux with Rojo.
