Thanks for a great Dance Teacher Summer Conference!

After three action-packed days at the New York Hilton, we were back at our desks and busy wrapping up production on the October issue. But before more time slips away from us, we’d like to take a moment to thank everyone who took part in this year’s Dance Teacher Summer Conference—session leaders, attendees, exhibitors and all who helped facilitate it. So many of you told us that DTSC reinvigorates your teaching and validates what you do; well, we feel the same way. As we walked the halls and sat in on classes, the excitement and enthusiasm was palpable. We witnessed teachers exchanging ideas, exploring new forms of dance and simply giving over to the joy of movement. It was refreshing and inspiring for us, so often in thrall to our computers, to be able to interact with those who are the very reason we do what we do. Thanks so much for helping to make this our best year ever.
