Burlesque, a movie musical to hit theaters November 24, tells the story of Ali (Christina Aguilera) who moves to L.A. to live her dream. She stumbles upon a burlesque club, home to a bold musical revue, and the rest is history. An all-star cast (including Cher, Eric Dane, Cam Gigandet, Peter Gallagher and Alan Cumming) and the hard-hitting choreography by Denise Faye (Nine, Chicago) and Joey Pizzi (Nine, Hairspray, Chicago) make Burlesque a film to see. “Our goal was to combine a classic style with current fresh dance moves,” says Faye. “I would say the dancing is MTV meets Fosse, and the synthesis of the old and the new is beautiful.”
