Q: Does the registration fee cover the cost of the hotel?
A: No, please call the Sheraton New York Hotel & Towers at 212-581-1000 and use the code “Dance Teacher Conference” to book your room. The special DTSC rate is $259 per night for single/double occupancy.

Q: Can I pay at the door?
A: We suggest that you register in advance so we can be sure to have a syllabus, goody bag and name badge ready for you—even if it’s within one week of the conference. If not, we will do our best to accommodate you.

Q: What if I need to cancel?
A: We understand that things come up unexpectedly. Our policy is to hold your registration credit toward the following year. It will expire after that time.

Q: Can I get a receipt for reimbursement purposes?
A: Yes, just call 646-459-4826 or e-mail dtsc@dancemedia.com with your information, including where you would like the receipt mailed/faxed to.

Q: Is there a one-day rate?
A: No, conference registration (which includes the sessions, seminars, breakfasts, luncheons, cocktail party and fashion show) is only sold for the full 3-day event. You can, however, get a free exhibit hall pass, which entitles you to walk the exhibit hall floor any or all three days.

Q: Which airport should I fly into and what transportation is available to the hotel?
A: Newark Airport, Laguardia (LGA) or JFK are fine and will be about a $40-$50 cab ride to the hotel.

Q: What are the start and end times of the conference so I can make my travel arrangements?
A: The pre-conference seminars start at 9:00am on the morning of August 9th, and the conference will end at 3:30pm on August 11th.
