Tappin’ in Motown
August 3, 2016

The ninth annual Motor City Tap Fest is happening August 10–13 at Wayne State University in Detroit. On the docket are master classes by hoofers such as Chloé Arnold (DT, February 2011) of the Syncopated Ladies, NYC-based teacher Ray Hesselink and Emmy-nominated choreographer Gregg Russell, as well as a tap jam. New this year is the young choreographers competition. Emerging choreographers ages 25 and under will compete for cash prizes and the opportunity to have their work seen in the Motor City Soles all-star faculty show at the end of the festival.
