Shopping organizer app for iPhone and iPad; $0.99 on iTunes

Shopping for dress code–approved dancewear or costume accessories can be a hassle for parents, with so many details to remember. But one enterprising dance dad decided to simplify the task with an app designed to organize dancers’ retail needs: Shop4Dance. With its list-making features and extensive dance retail database, Shop4Dance easily keeps track of what dancers need to purchase and what they’ve already bought. Tap the app’s plus sign to create a new list; users can then start adding items and separating them into different routines or classes.

Shoppers can use the app’s database to add items or input those not already listed by entering brand, color, size and quantity needed. There’s even a general comments section for jotting down important notes or reminders (“Discount Dance Supply on sale this week”).
