Leave it to Avatar and Titanic director James Cameron to take ballet on the big screen to the next level. On June 6, audiences from the US to Australia can watch Swan Lake live in 3-D, starring the Maryinsky Ballet’s stunning Ekaterina Kondaurova.

The screening is the result of a collaboration between Cameron and Maryinsky director Valery Gergiev. And with the company’s recent plans to allocate more funds to domestic performances rather than touring, this may be the closest thing we get to an American performance form them for some time.

The broadcast of the live Maryinsky performance in Russia will be delayed, airing at 6:30 pm local time in all U.S. locations. Click here for the full list of theaters and to purchase tickets.
