Sadly, not to dance, but we can dream, can’t we?

On September 5, the New York City Dance Alliance Foundation will honor Mikhail Baryshnikov with the Ambassador for the Arts Award as part of it’s Bright Lights Shining Stars Gala. Former colleague Liza Minnelli will present the award, along with a donation to the Baryshnikov Arts Center. A dance tribute to the legend will also take place (Maybe Mischa will be tempted to join in?), along with performances by “shining stars” from top dance companies and a NYCDA scholarship presentation.
