Melinda Sullivan Wins Capezio’s ACE Award

We loved watching Melinda Sullivan’s tap piece and seeing her accept the Capezio Award for Choreographic Excellence at the Dance Teacher Summit’s event on Saturday. The award will fund a full-length show for Sullivan in NYC next summer, even providing compensation for her dancers. Wow! Check out the video of Melinda’s winning piece here.
Dana Foglia (See Dana’s ACE video entry here) and Bree Hafen (See one of her ACE entries here) were first and second runners up, respectively, and will also win funding towards their own productions. Congratulations to all the winners!
