The UK’s Northern Ballet recently added two dancers to its roster, right when they were afraid they’d have to cut their numbers by 25 percent due to decreased funding. The company launched multiple fundraising campaigns, and eventually received enough sponsorship to make up the difference. Glad to see that sometimes if you ask, you shall receive. The company hopes its new sponsors will stick with them next year; our fingers are crossed for them!
